Discover greater ease and possibility through gentle movement lessons that help you find new ways of moving, sensing, and engaging with the world.
What is the Feldenkrais Method?
The Feldenkrais Method® uses gentle movement as a way of learning. Rather than focusing on stretching, treatment, or correction, lessons invite you to become more aware of how you move and how the different parts of yourself work together.
As awareness grows, new possibilities begin to emerge. Movement can become easier, more efficient, and more adaptable, supporting not only how you move, but how you live, work, create, and engage with the world.
Why people come to Feldenkrais
People come to the Feldenkrais Method for many different reasons. Some are recovering from pain or injury. Others want to move with greater ease, return to activities they enjoy, refine their performance, or simply feel more at home in themselves.
Move with Greater Ease
Recover from pain or injury, improve balance and coordination, or simply make everyday movement feel easier and more comfortable.
Return to what you love
Whether it's gardening, golf, hiking, playing with your children or grandchildren, or navigating daily life, the goal is to help you participate more fully in the activities that matter most.
Refine Performance
Explore new possibilities for athletic performance, artistic expression, creativity, and communication.
Feel More Like Yourself
Develop greater awareness, confidence, and freedom in how you move, create, and engage with the world.
Ways to Work Together
There are two ways to experience the Feldenkrais Method: private lessons and group classes. Both offer a gentle, exploratory approach to discovering new possibilities for how you move and how you experience yourself in everyday life.
Functional Integration
Individual lessons tailored to your goals, interests, and unique way of moving. Through gentle touch and movement, I join you in the learning process, creating the conditions for greater ease, awareness, and new possibilities to emerge.
Awareness Through Movement
Verbally guided movement lessons that place you at the center of your own learning. You'll be invited to move slowly, rest when needed, and explore at your own pace, cultivating greater sensitivity to your own movement, sensations, and experience. While Awareness Through Movement® is often taught in a group setting, lessons can also be offered one-to-one.
Many people choose to combine private lessons and group classes over time. While each offers a unique experience, together they can deepen learning and support lasting change in everyday life.
Why I teach this work
I teach the Feldenkrais Method because I believe that when we experience ourselves more fully, we can participate more fully in the world around us.
Whether that means returning to an activity you love, expressing yourself more freely, recovering confidence after an injury, or discovering that something you once thought impossible is now within reach, the work is ultimately about expanding your capacity to engage with the world more fully as yourself.
I look forward to working with you.
